The BYD Ti 3, a compact SUV with a futuristic design, is set to make its debut at ChinaJoy 2025, one of Asia’s largest digital entertainment events held annually in Shanghai.

Inspired by the legendary powers of Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, this special edition features a sleek black paint job with golden accents. The front has been redesigned with a sporty bumper integrating a large splitter, auxiliary lighting comprising five roof-mounted lamps, and LED lights framing the wheel arches. The hood adopts an aerodynamic style with faux air intakes for enhanced visual appeal.

Complementing the exterior are two-tone black and yellow wheels, a rear cargo box featuring the Fangchengbao logo and “Wukong” in yellow, and a fixed spoiler mounted on the rear window. The overall design retains the robust character of the Fangchengbao line, now infused with gaming aesthetics.

First introduced in April 2025, the BYD Ti 3 stands out with its unique front grille, LED daytime running lights, and trapezoidal front bumper. The rear features a distinctive dual-layer spoiler and a side-opening tailgate with an external 28-liter cargo box.

The special edition Ti 3 also boasts flared wheel arches with integrated LED lights and a modified front bumper.

Offered in two variants, the standard model and the “drone” edition with a raised roof to accommodate a drone, the Ti 3 has overall dimensions of 4,605 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,720 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,745 mm.

Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo+, this SUV is equipped with a four-wheel drive system and dual electric motors delivering a combined output of 310 kW. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 201 km/h.

With a range of up to 501 km based on the CLTC standard, the Ti 3 offers three battery options: 65.28 kWh (rear-wheel drive), 72.96 kWh (AWD), and 78.72 kWh (drone version).

Step inside, and you’ll find a feature-rich cabin with a 15.6-inch (or 12.8-inch, depending on the trim) touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch head-up display, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated power front seats (excluding the standard trim), and a four-spoke steering wheel with terrain modes and practical extras like a flashlight, a microphone, and a mini-fridge with temperature control.

Priced between 133,800 and 193,800 Chinese yuan (approximately $18,700 to $27,000), the BYD Ti 3 competes against rivals such as the iCar V23, Smart #3, and Zeekr X. In June 2025, this electric SUV recorded sales of 12,017 units.

In addition to the Ti 3 collaboration model, BYD will also showcase co-branded vehicles at ChinaJoy 2025, including the Han L, Seal 06 GT, and Denza Z9 GT, strengthening its partnership with Black Myth: Wukong.
