According to a sales consultant in the southern region, the Suzuki Jimny is now offered with a cash discount of up to 100 million VND.
Specifically, the actual price of the Suzuki Jimny is now approximately 689 million VND. In addition, buyers will receive a gift package worth up to 20 million VND, including benefits such as window tinting, floor mats, and leather seat covers instead of the original fabric seats. The total value of the incentives can amount to about 120 million VND.
Moreover, Suzuki Vietnam is offering a promotion to cover 100% of the registration fee, equivalent to about 80 million VND depending on the registration area. This is considered the strongest incentive for this SUV model since its launch in Vietnam.
The Suzuki Jimny was officially introduced to the Vietnamese market in April 2024. This off-road SUV has a compact size, similar to an A-segment city car, with dimensions of 3,480 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm (length x width x height), and a wheelbase of 2,250 mm. The design is boxy and robust, reminiscent of larger off-road vehicles. Some dealerships also offer body-tuning packages styled after the Mercedes-Benz G-Class to enhance its rugged appeal.
The Jimny’s cockpit is designed with simplicity and practicality in mind. It features amenities such as a 9-inch touchscreen center display, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The remaining equipment is fairly basic, including fabric seats, manual handbrake, manual air conditioning, manually adjustable mirrors, and no rear seat vents.
Powering the Jimny is a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine, producing 102 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The 4-speed automatic transmission may not be modern, but it aligns with the traditional off-roader’s philosophy of simplicity and durability.
With the current incentives, the Suzuki Jimny becomes a more appealing choice for customers who appreciate the classic SUV style, enjoy exploration, and frequently venture off-road. However, buyers should consider the trade-offs between its compact design, basic features, and superior off-road capability to match their actual needs.
