Avatr Technology has officially inaugurated its new smart automotive factory, marking a significant step forward in the young brand’s expansion and globalization strategy.
The factory is a collaboration between Avatr Technology, Changan Automobile, Huawei, China Unicom, and several other leading technology partners.
Avatr’s new facility is designed for flexible manufacturing, incorporating advanced technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and a digital management platform. The integrated production system enables real-time monitoring of the entire process, from order to finished vehicle.
The production line is highly automated, with a capacity of one car rolling off the assembly line every 60 seconds. It can accommodate multiple vehicle models on the same line, supporting over 1,200 configuration variants to cater to diverse market demands.
The facility is equipped with 369 monitoring systems, 26 quality inspection gates, and 73 machine vision testing stations, ensuring accurate and consistent inspection processes.
At the inauguration event, Avatr confirmed the upcoming launch of an all-new SUV, developed in collaboration with Huawei, as part of its product expansion plans. The brand aims to introduce 17 new models by 2030, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars.
Looking ahead, Avatr envisions the new factory as a cornerstone to achieve an annual production capacity of 800,000 vehicles, catering to both domestic and international markets.
In 2024, Avatr recorded sales of 73,000 units, doubling its volume from 2023. This positive trend continued into the first half of 2025, with the company maintaining stable growth, consistently delivering over 10,000 units per month for four consecutive months.
Since 2024, Avatr has been expanding its global presence, currently operating in 25 countries and regions, including key markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Several models have been introduced in Thailand and Dubai, priced between 500,000 and 700,000 Chinese yuan (approximately 1.82 – 2.55 billion VND).
