The luxury sports car, an Aston Martin DB12, spotted on a tow truck in Hanoi, Vietnam, has sparked interest among local car enthusiasts. This particular vehicle has been up for auction for nearly two months and was sold for half a billion VND (approximately $21,500 USD) in April 2025, making it the highest bid for this model.

The Aston Martin DB12, with license plate 30M-366.88, is a stunning sight with its elegant dark green matte finish, carbon fiber details, black trim, and dual-tone multi-spoke rims. At a glance, one might mistake it for the DB11 model, as the designs are quite similar.

Introduced in 2016 as an enhanced version of the DB11, the DB12 celebrates the 110th anniversary of the Aston Martin brand. It boasts a revised front bumper and a larger grille, along with a distinctive splitter and bold LED headlights. Under the hood, the DB12 packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers an impressive 671 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 325 km/h.

The interior of the DB12 has been redesigned and features a new infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It comes standard with an 11-speaker audio system, but buyers can opt for the Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker upgrade. Other optional equipment includes Sports Plus seats, Carbon Fiber Performance seats, and trim options in aluminum, wood, or carbon fiber.

The improved performance of the DB12 is attributed to optimized compression ratios, larger turbochargers, and enhanced cooling capabilities. This combination of style, luxury, and power makes the Aston Martin DB12 a true head-turner on the roads.
