THACO Auto has just announced that it has started assembling the Mazda CX-3 crossover in Vietnam, instead of importing CBU units from Thailand as before. This information has been posted on the official website of the company.

Not only focusing on product quality, THACO AUTO also invests in smart production lines that meet global standards. To date, more than 250,000 Mazda vehicles have rolled off the assembly lines at the THACO MAZDA factory, one of the most modern factories in Southeast Asia. The New Mazda CX-3 is the latest model to be produced here, inheriting the core values of the brand and featuring the latest design language.

Together with the Mazda CX-30, CX-5, and CX-8 SUVs, the New Mazda CX-3 offers a diverse range of choices to cater to the needs and lifestyles of various customer groups.

Accordingly, the domestically assembled Mazda CX-3 will be distributed in four versions: AT, Deluxe, Luxury, and Premium, with respective price tags of VND 549 million, VND 579 million, VND 619 million, and VND 659 million. Compared to the imported version, the price of the assembled car has increased by VND 18-30 million, but the vehicle will feature some exterior and equipment upgrades.

The Mazda CX-3 shares the same platform as the Mazda2, with dimensions of 4,275 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and 1,535 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm and a ground clearance of 155 mm.

The domestically assembled Mazda CX-3 will feature a new grille design, known as the “Signature Wing” style, similar to the CX-8. It will also have redesigned front and rear bumpers and the option for a two-tone paint job.

On the highest-end version, the car will be equipped with LED projector headlights that can automatically turn on/off, self-level, and adjust the beam range.

In terms of the interior, the cabin offers a high level of refinement and is designed according to the “Human Centric” philosophy, providing an emotional driving experience. The front seats integrate the Mazda Connect system, a 7-inch central entertainment screen, and automatic air conditioning, ensuring convenience and comfort for the occupants.

Powering the domestically assembled Mazda CX-3 is the familiar SkyActiv-G 1.5L engine, producing 110 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The car also features a sport mode, GVC (G-Vectoring Control) system, and i-Stop (intelligent start/stop) technology.

The New Mazda CX-3 is equipped with i-Activsense, Mazda’s advanced suite of safety technologies, along with a robust SkyActiv body and chassis. Notably, the Luxury and Premium versions are equipped with tire pressure sensors, enhancing control and safety during operation.
