Professional driver, Mr. Duc Hai, shared his experience with the Toyota Veloz Cross, stating that it is an excellent choice for business purposes due to its spacious interior, long-lasting durability, fuel efficiency, and comprehensive amenities.

When asked about his reasons for choosing the Veloz Cross, Mr. Duc Hai emphasized that Toyota has long been regarded as a trusted brand among drivers. Toyota vehicles are known for their reliability, with sturdy engines that rarely break down. He highlighted the importance of building a reputation with customers, which takes a considerable amount of time and care. However, a single breakdown could lead to a loss of clients, as word-of-mouth can quickly spread.

Mr. Duc Hai’s daily commute in his Toyota Veloz Cross covers approximately 500 km, including interprovincial highways, expressways, and inner-city routes for passenger pick-up and drop-off. After two and a half years of intensive use, his car has clocked over 180,000 km. This equates to an average monthly mileage of more than 6,000 km, and yet the car remains in pristine condition.

Despite the high-frequency usage, three to four times higher than that of an average user, Mr. Hai’s car has never experienced any unexpected breakdowns or required any replacements or repairs. He attributes the car’s stable performance to adhering to oil change intervals and using premium engine oils. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of regularly checking the tires and tire pressure during vehicle operation.

Mr. Duc Hai further shared his insights on the Toyota Veloz Cross, praising its steady and responsive driving feel. The engine and transmission deliver smooth feedback, providing ample power for regular road use. The steering wheel, seats, gearshift, and control buttons are ergonomically designed for ease of use and quick familiarization.

However, he noted that the body shell could be improved for better sound insulation, as the current level is merely acceptable. On the upside, the large window compartments create a spacious and airy atmosphere. The cabin comfortably accommodates seven adults with an average height of up to 1.7 meters across all three rows of seats, and the air conditioning system quickly cools the interior. He suggested that increasing the width of the tire size in future updates would enhance high-speed stability on expressways.

Additionally, Mr. Hai appreciated the convenience of the electronic parking brake with auto hold, especially during peak hours in urban areas. The 7-inch screen, though adequate, benefits from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, making it easier to navigate to customer addresses. These small yet thoughtful features demonstrate Toyota’s commitment to continuously upgrading and refining its products.

As an experienced driver, Mr. Duc Hai opted for the standard version of the Veloz Cross instead of the higher-end model to optimize his initial investment. The differences between the two versions include a 360-camera, cruise control, and ADAS features, which he believes are more suited for novice drivers who lack experience in handling such situations.

One of the most satisfying aspects of the Toyota Veloz Cross, according to Mr. Duc Hai, is its fuel efficiency and the brand’s thoughtful after-sales policies. He shared that his monthly fuel cost is approximately 10 million VND for over 8,000 km of travel, resulting in a combined fuel consumption of just 6.2-6.5 L / 100 km. Having driven various models, he was impressed that the 7-seater Veloz consumed fuel on par with smaller sedans and hatchbacks, despite offering more space and seating capacity.

Accompanying Mr. Duc Hai to an authorized Toyota dealership, his Veloz Cross, with over 185,000 km on the odometer, underwent a minor maintenance service (every 5,000 km) for a remarkably low cost of 588,000 VND. The service included five items: engine oil change, inspection and cleaning of the engine air filter and air-conditioning filter, topping up coolant and washer fluid, and checking the basic operating system, including the battery, lights, signals, and brakes.

The dealership’s professional and swift service further enhanced Mr. Hai’s satisfaction. The entire process took only 45 minutes, showcasing the efficiency and expertise of the authorized service center. Additionally, the widespread network of Toyota dealerships across the country adds to the convenience and peace of mind for Toyota vehicle owners.

In conclusion, Mr. Duc Hai expressed his delight with the Toyota Veloz Cross standard version as a business service vehicle. He praised its spacious interior, efficient air conditioning, comprehensive amenities, and acceptable performance. Most importantly, the vehicle’s durability and reliability uphold the reputation of both the Toyota brand and its owners who provide transportation services. Coupled with impressive fuel economy and cost-effective after-sales service, the Veloz Cross is an excellent choice for business and personal use.
