After a period of seclusion in a garage, Vietnam’s only authentic McLaren Senna made a surprise appearance on the streets of Hanoi.

According to car enthusiasts, this McLaren Senna is owned by the “coffee king” Dang Le Nguyen Vu. The car rarely leaves the garage as it bears a diplomatic license plate, which does not align with the owner’s preference for white civilian plates. This appearance in Hanoi is believed to be for license plate renewal before switching to a white plate and joining the owner’s hypercar events.

The McLaren Senna features a predominantly white and gray color scheme with accents of green, blue, and yellow, along with the signature of the legendary Ayrton Senna on its body. Originally, the car boasted a white exterior. This particular Senna is the 154th out of 500 units produced globally.

Inside the cabin, the McLaren Senna is equipped with race-style carbon fiber seats, complete with seat belts and butterfly door support bars in blue, creating a striking contrast with the matte carbon fiber details.

Powering the McLaren Senna is a mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that produces 789 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Coupled with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, this British hypercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 km/h. Notably, this Senna is fitted with a dual-exhaust system, delivering a more exhilarating sound compared to the typical three-exhaust configuration.
