Once a highly sought-after luxury SUV among the wealthy and famous, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 has now seen a significant drop in demand.
To clear out their inventory of 2022-2023 models, Mercedes dealers have introduced unprecedented discounts for the G 63.
As a result, several authorized dealers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are offering the 2022 VIN Mercedes-AMG G 63 at a price of 9.9 billion VND, which is a massive discount of up to 1.85 billion VND from the listed price. The sellers have mentioned that the stock is limited.
Other authorized dealers are selling the G 63 for over 11 billion VND, along with additional expensive packages such as the AMG Night Package, 22-inch 7-twin-spoke rims, G Manufaktur custom paint options, and carbon fiber trim for an enhanced aesthetic appeal.
It’s not just the G 63 that’s seeing discounts; several other Mercedes-Benz models in Vietnam are also being offered with significant dealer discounts. For instance, the C-Class 2024 VIN is being offered with discounts ranging from 200 to 250 million VND.Â
A Hanoi-based dealer is offering the E 200 (2023 VIN) at a price of 1.999 billion VND, a discount of 391 million VND. The E 300 AMG variant (2023 VIN) is seeing an incredible discount of 680 million VND, bringing the price down to approximately 2.27 billion VND.
This “warehouse clearance” phenomenon is not unique to Mercedes; it is prevalent among other luxury car brands as well. Volkswagen, for instance, has recently been offering to cover 50-100% of the registration fee for 2024 VIN models, which translates to cash benefits of up to 300 million VND.
