There has been a lot of buzz on TikTok recently about a stunning Porsche 918 Spyder cruising around town, and it turns out that this supercar belongs to a Vietnamese businessman, one of the country’s five USD billionaires.

This is one of his special rides with a Cambodian number plate. Interestingly, instead of keeping the Porsche 918 Spyder locked up in a garage, the owner has been spotted driving it around Ho Chi Minh City frequently this year.

Another notable figure, Hoang Kim Khanh, also has a penchant for unique cars and has registered a McLaren Senna and a Koenigsegg Regera with Cambodian number plates. These plates allow him to personalize his and his wife’s names on these limited-edition, expensive supercars.

The Porsche 918 Spyder in question sports a sleek gray paint job, with a carbon fiber targa top that can be removed and stored in the front trunk when not in use.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is an ultra-rare supercar, with only 918 units produced globally. Each car is individually numbered, and depending on the configuration, the price varies, starting at $845,000. However, just months after its introduction, the Porsche 918 Spyder’s price surged past the $1 million mark.

Despite being a decade old, the 918 Spyder still holds the title of Porsche’s most powerful car. It boasts a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V8 engine with two electric motors to deliver a staggering 881 horsepower and 1,280 Nm of torque.

This hybrid supercar can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 345 km/h. The 6.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack allows the Porsche 918 Spyder to travel up to 19 kilometers on electric power alone.
