The selling price of this Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 was revealed to be over 13 billion VND, with a custom paint job costing nearly 600 million VND. As the only car of its kind on the market, a car enthusiast from Ho Chi Minh City swiftly added it to their garage.
There are an estimated six Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 sports cars in Vietnam, but this newly traded vehicle features a personalized color from Porsche’s intriguing Paint to Sample program, which can cost from hundreds of millions to billions of VND.
Specifically, the car is painted in Nogaro Blue Metallic from the Paint to Sample catalog, for which the owner paid nearly 600 million VND. The interior features brown upholstery with yellow seat belts.
When imported to Vietnam, the official distributor price of the Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 was 15.3 billion VND. This figure does not include optional equipment or on-road costs, which could bring the total to over 17.5 billion VND.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S 992, owned by a businessman in Ho Chi Minh City, features an upgraded design compared to its predecessor. For instance, it has an improved front bumper with new LED turn signals. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is also equipped with an aerodynamic lip spoiler, two-tone sports alloy wheels, black air vents behind the rear fenders, and a contrasting roof. It has an electrically adjustable rear wing.
The rare Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 in Vietnam is powered by a potent 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that produces 640 horsepower, an increase of 60 hp over the previous version. It also generates 800 Nm of peak torque, 50 Nm more than its predecessor.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S 992’s engine is mated to an all-wheel-drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package. The car has a top speed of 330 km/h.
