Mercedes-Maybach recently unveiled its latest masterpiece, the S680 Edition Emerald Isle – a top-of-the-line luxury sedan inspired by the natural beauty of California’s coastline.
The Mercedes-Maybach S680 Edition Emerald Isle special edition boasts a two-tone exterior, with a Manufaktur Moonlight White Metallic body and a Manufaktur Mid Ireland Green Metallic upper.
According to Mercedes, the green hue is inspired by the Monterey pines, while the white represents the fine sands of Pebble Beach. The elegant exterior is complemented by intricate chrome accents and 21-inch two-tone “Champagne Flute” forged wheels.
Inside the S680 Edition Emerald Isle’s cabin, every detail has been meticulously crafted, featuring premium Light Brown Nappa leather and a black Nappa leather headliner with elegant chestnut stitching.
The dashboard and trim panels showcase Black Piano Lacquer Flowing Lines, while the door sills are engraved with “Edition Emerald Isle 1 of 25,” and the Maybach logo embroidered on the Nappa leather floor mats underscores its exclusivity.
Notably, Mercedes-Maybach collaborated with a fragrance artisan to create a bespoke scent, blending cedarwood, Monterey pine, and sea salt, diffused through the Air Balance system.
The vehicle features the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus, offering a first-class experience with two separate business-class seats, a folding table, cushions, a mini-fridge, and champagne flutes.
Powering the S680 Edition Emerald Isle is a mighty 6.0L twin-turbo V12 engine producing 621 horsepower and 899 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Despite weighing over 2.4 tons, this ultra-luxury sedan sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.
In the US market, Mercedes will offer only 25 units of the Maybach S680 Edition Emerald Isle. Deliveries are expected to commence in the fall of 2025.
While the pricing for this special edition has not been disclosed, it will undoubtedly surpass the starting price of the standard model, which stands at $240,500. Buyers will receive a handcrafted Nappa leather case containing the car keys and a limited-edition bottle of perfume.
