A rare sight was witnessed at Ben Bach Dang, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, as a Ferrari 296 GTS convertible supercar made an appearance. According to sources, the car has recently found an owner after a prolonged stay at an authorized dealership.
Thus, after being showcased at several events and malls, this officially imported Ferrari 296 GTS has been sold, with an on-road price of nearly VND 25 billion.

It is believed that this is the fifth or sixth Ferrari 296 GTS convertible to enter the Vietnamese market. The first one was delivered to a customer in Bac Lieu province, although the couple resides and works in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
The exterior of this Ferrari 296 GTS boasts a Giallo Modena yellow paint job, complemented by silver-painted five-spoke alloy wheels and red brake calipers. The interior features carbon-fiber racing seats trimmed in yellow leather, matching the exterior color.
The Ferrari 296 GTS shares the same powerful engine as the Ferrari 296 GTB, with the added advantage of a retractable hardtop that can be raised or lowered in just 14 seconds.
The convenience of operating the Ferrari 296 GTS’ retractable hardtop is enhanced by the inclusion of a central control panel button for this purpose, along with controls for the windows.
Under the hood, the Ferrari 296 GTS convertible is equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 turbocharged gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 654 horsepower and a peak torque of 425 Nm.
Additionally, an electric motor positioned between the internal combustion engine and the 8-speed gearbox contributes a maximum power of 164 horsepower and a maximum torque of 315 Nm to the open-top variant of the Ferrari 296 GTB.

Thanks to its plug-in hybrid system, the Ferrari 296 GTS boasts a combined output of 818 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque.
This powerful engine enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 330 km/h. The 296 GTS is also Ferrari’s first hardtop convertible variant with a V6 engine.
