A rare treat for scooter enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City, as Cub House imports four units of the Honda Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP Limited Edition.

The Honda Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP Limited Edition is a special edition run of just 99 units, celebrating Thai racer Somkiat Chantra’s entry into the MotoGP – the first for his country.

This particular unit is number 68/99, featuring a predominantly white color scheme with red accents on the front mudguard, headlight rim, and footrest area. The number 35, Chantra’s racing number, is prominently displayed on the front, adding a nice touch.

Beyond the unique colorway, the Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP retains the standard model’s design and technical specifications. It boasts a sleek, classic style with compact dimensions and a comfortable riding position.

The Honda Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP measures 1,902 mm in length, 683 mm in width, and 1,144 mm in height, with a seat height of 780 mm. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. Standard features include LED headlights and taillights, an LCD instrument cluster, Smartkey keyless ignition, ABS-equipped front disc brakes, a left-side storage compartment with a charging port, and a spacious 30-liter under-seat compartment capable of accommodating a full-face helmet and other personal items.

Powering the Honda Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP is a liquid-cooled eSP+ 125cc single-cylinder engine, producing 12.5 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 11.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Mated to a CVT transmission, this efficient powerplant returns an impressive fuel economy of 52.6 km/l, translating to less than 2 liters per 100 km.

In the Vietnamese market, the Giorno+ SC35 ThaiGP will go up against the Yamaha Grande. Pricing for this special edition is yet to be announced, but it is expected to exceed the standard model’s price, which some dealers have offered for over VND 100 million. The standard Giorno+ has been advertised for over VND 60 million by certain dealers.
