According to Carscoops, Ferrari previously hinted that October would be the month for the debut of its first-ever electric supercar, codenamed Elettrica.

However, only the details of the electric powertrain, referred to as the “technological heart,” will be unveiled this year. The full reveal of the highly anticipated Elettrica is slated for spring 2026.

This information was confirmed by Ferrari during their first-quarter financial report presentation. CEO Benedetto Vigna shared scant details about the Elettrica’s “technological heart,” but Carscoops believes he was alluding to an all-electric powertrain.

Specific technical specifications of the Elettrica remain under wraps. Current information confirms that Ferrari will develop and manufacture the battery modules, inverters, and electric motors at their Maranello headquarters.

Carscoops notes that Ferrari could have opted to partner with another company for the electric vehicle’s components. However, their decision to go it alone underscores the brand’s commitment to maintaining technological autonomy.

In its first-quarter financial report, Ferrari also confirmed that the first Elettrica models will be delivered to eager customers starting in October 2026. Auto News brought us this exciting update.

Ferrari’s financial report for the first quarter revealed that they produced a total of 3,593 new vehicles this year, a slight increase of 33 units compared to the same period last year.

The company’s revenue climbed by 13% to €1.79 billion (approximately US$2 billion), while net profit surged by 17% to €412 million, roughly equating to US$467 million.
