The Ultimate Showdown: A Battle of Seven-Seater Vehicles with Massive Discounts to Welcome the Electric Car Revolution

As August arrives, automotive brands are gearing up for the quarterly sales race. Several new 7-seater MPVs are entering the market, including surprising contenders like the VinFast Limo Green. That’s why, right from the first week of the month, many models are already being offered with discounts of up to tens of millions of VND.

Below is a list of some of the 7-seater SUV and MPV models that are currently being offered with attractive promotions from dealers and manufacturers, as reported by Tri Thức – Znews.

Toyota Offers Registration Fee Support

Customers purchasing the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio, Toyota’s 7-seater MPV offerings, can enjoy a 100% registration fee support during August. This program applies to the Veloz CVT and CVT Top versions, with benefits ranging from 60 to 64 million VND. Buyers will also receive an additional year of body insurance worth 8.7 to 9.3 million VND.

The Avanza Premio, a sibling of the Veloz, is also eligible for similar benefits, totaling approximately 64.7 to 69.3 million VND depending on the trim level.

This is the highest incentive ever offered for these two models from the Japanese automaker. Previously, Toyota had provided a 50% registration fee discount for the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio for an extended period.

In Vietnam, the Veloz Cross has consistently been one of the best-selling MPVs in the market, going head-to-head with the Mitsubishi Xpander.

In the first half of this year, Toyota Vietnam sold 3,149 units of the Veloz Cross, capturing over 13% market share in the segment. The vehicle is priced between 638 and 668 million VND, depending on the trim level and exterior color.

The Avanza Premio is offered in two trim levels, with prices ranging from 558 to 598 million VND.

Mitsubishi Xpander Offers Significant Discounts

Throughout August, customers purchasing any variant of the Xpander can enjoy a 50% discount on the registration fee, along with additional gifts such as fuel vouchers, a rearview camera, or a 360-degree camera. The gifts and cash benefits vary depending on the trim level and year of production of the vehicle.

For the manual transmission variant produced in 2024 (VIN), the Mitsubishi Xpander offers a 50% registration fee discount, a 15 million VND fuel voucher, and a rear camera. The total value of incentives for this variant is equivalent to 45.5 million VND.

The AT and AT Premium automatic transmission variants, produced in 2025, come with a 50% registration fee discount and additional gifts. The total incentives for these two versions are 45 million and 73 million VND, respectively.

The Xpander Cross variant also benefits from a 50% registration fee discount, a 20 million VND fuel voucher, and a 360-degree camera. The total value of incentives for this version is 75 million VND, the highest among all Mitsubishi Xpander variants in Vietnam.

Kia Offers 50% Registration Fee Discount

Compared to other models in the segment, the Kia Carens rarely sees promotional programs. However, during August, customers purchasing the vehicle are eligible for a 50% registration fee support, amounting to approximately 30 to 40 million VND depending on the trim level.

Its bigger sibling, the Kia Carnival, also offers registration fee support for almost all trim levels. Thanks to this incentive, buyers can purchase this premium 7-seater MPV at a price lower than the listed price by 70 to 80 million VND depending on the variant.

In Vietnam, the Carnival leads the mid-range 7-seater MPV market. It offers five trim levels, two seating configurations (7 or 8 seats), and prices ranging from 1.299 to 1.849 billion VND.

Hyundai Stargazer Offers Registration Fee Discount

This is not the first time this year that the Stargazer has been discounted to boost sales. Previously, in June and July, some Hyundai dealerships offered significant discounts on the 2024 Stargazer X 1.5T, reducing the price to 545 million VND. According to dealership staff, this was a clearance sale unique to that dealership, which continued until their stock was depleted.

In August, the models continue to be offered with a 50% registration fee discount. According to our sources, the value of the incentive can vary depending on the trim level and any additional dealership programs, ranging from 24 to 40 million VND. In Vietnam, the Hyundai Stargazer is available in three trim levels, priced between 489 and 599 million VND.
