The arrival of the first Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato in Vietnam has sparked keen interest among car enthusiasts, despite the vehicle bearing a Cambodian license plate. The owner, however, is a Vietnamese resident of Ho Chi Minh City.
Recently, car enthusiasts in Hue spotted this Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato at a gas station, and it was revealed that the owner possesses an impressive collection of supercars, including a Porsche 918 Spyder and two hypercars that have not yet been publicly unveiled.

This is one of only 1,499 Lamborghini Huracan Sterratos produced and sold globally, and it is currently the only one in Vietnam.
The first impression of this off-road Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is its military gray color, often seen on fighter jets and previously offered as a custom color for the limited-edition Avio series, of which only 250 were made. In addition to this striking color, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato features numerous black accents.
Unlike its siblings, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is designed to conquer all terrains, including mountain passes. The name “Sterrato” is Italian for “mud” and the car’s design reflects this off-road purpose.

Specifically, the ground clearance has been increased by 47 mm, while the front end has been sharpened by 1% and the departure angle improved by 6.5%. The front and rear tracks have been widened by 30 mm and 34 mm, respectively, to enhance stability and balance during operation.
At first glance, the off-road Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato retains the standard model’s overall design, with Lamborghini adding distinctive features such as two searchlights on the front, a roof rack, and thick, black wheel arch protectors.
The wheel arch protectors are bolted on, giving this off-road supercar a more rugged appearance. Additionally, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is fitted with 19-inch wheels and exclusive Bridgestone Dueler AT002 run-flat tires.
Another modification on the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is the addition of an air intake on the engine cover, which prevents stones and dirt from entering and damaging the engine when driving at high speeds on gravel roads. Even the rear diffuser has been redesigned to protect the engine oil pans, gearbox, and other components.
While capable of handling sandy, gravel, and dusty roads, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is primarily designed for street use. The interior features black Alcantara seats, a central touchscreen, and a digital instrument cluster with an off-road-style display, including a compass and steering angle indicator.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 610 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
The car features a new Rally driving mode, specifically designed for low-grip, slippery surfaces. It also offers Strada (street) and Sport driving modes. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 260 km/h.
According to Lamborghini, only 1,499 units of the Huracan Sterrato will be produced and sold worldwide. It is a direct competitor to the Porsche 911 Dakar, of which over 1,001 units have been produced, with five already imported to Vietnam through official channels.
