“The New Epicenter” of Electric Motorcycles: VinFast Evo Grand is the Top Choice for Both Fashion-Conscious Office Workers and Eco-Friendly, Cost-Saving Service Drivers
With a starting price of just 18 million VND for the Lite version, the Evo Grand is setting a new standard for affordable motorcycles in Vietnam.
The New Favorite for Office Workers
“The era of gasoline-powered bikes is coming to an end. I decided to go with the Evo Grand because it’s eco-friendly, stylish, and affordable,” shared 27-year-old Hanoi office worker, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, with enthusiasm.
For office workers like Ms. Huong, finding a vehicle that is fashionable, convenient, economical, and eco-friendly to meet the upcoming regulations on gasoline vehicle restrictions has been a significant concern. The Evo Grand’s arrival provides the perfect answer to all these requirements.
Departing from the typical rugged style, the Evo Grand boasts a rounded, elegant design while retaining a distinctive character. It offers five trendy color options, including the extremely popular Olive Green and Sand Yellow.
For those who need to carry their “entire world” with them every day, from handbags and laptops to high heels and lunch boxes, the Evo Grand’s 35L trunk is a significant advantage. With this massive storage capacity, the Evo Grand surpasses the Honda Vision (18L) and rivals the Honda Lead (37L).
Additionally, the Evo Grand impresses with its modern features, such as full LED lights and a digital LED dashboard. It offers two driving modes, Eco and Sport, for flexible maneuvering on different terrains. Users can also opt for smart features like vehicle, battery, and GPS information display.
“The Evo Grand’s features and specifications rival those of high-end scooters, but at half the price,” Ms. Huong compared.
Indeed, the Evo Grand is priced at only 21 million VND, while the Evo Grand Lite is even more affordable at 18 million VND. These prices are significantly lower than popular gasoline-powered scooters currently on the market, such as the Vision (31-36 million VND) and Honda Lead (39-45 million VND).
A Valuable Choice for Service Drivers
The Evo Grand is not only creating a buzz among office workers but also generating a special appeal within the service driver community – individuals who rely on their vehicles for their daily income.
Mr. Tran Duc Toan, a 32-year-old delivery driver in Hanoi, shared that he currently owns a five-year-old Japanese motorcycle. However, the fuel and maintenance costs are too high, as he travels more than 100 km daily. Therefore, he was immediately interested in the Evo Grand when VinFast announced its launch.
“Electricity costs are incredibly low, and you don’t have to worry about frequent maintenance. I spend over a million VND on gasoline each month with my current bike. With the Evo Grand, a full charge would only cost a few thousand VND, and charging at stations is free,” said Mr. Toan, proudly showing his successful deposit confirmation.
Equipped with a pair of 2.4 kWh batteries, the Evo Grand can cover an impressive 262 km on a single charge, an unmatched figure in its price range. The second battery is designed for flexible removal and can be charged anywhere, providing an ideal solution for service drivers who are constantly on the move.
In addition to its durable performance, the Evo Grand offers maximum convenience in every detail. Its long and wide seat makes it more comfortable for carrying passengers or cargo. With a seat height of 770 mm and a weight of only 92 kg (110 kg with two batteries), the bike is easy to handle, especially when maneuvering in narrow alleys or making frequent stops throughout the day.
Notably, VinFast is offering generous support policies for customers. Specifically, ride-hailing drivers who purchase the vehicle through GSM and register for commercial use on the Xanh SM platform receive a 10% discount on the vehicle price. They can also enjoy a 90% loan for a maximum of three years, guaranteed by GSM. Individual customers receive a 10% discount as well and only need to pay 10% upfront, with the remaining 80% available through a loan for up to three years. Customers also benefit from a 100% exemption on registration fees until December 31, 2025, and free charging at V-Green stations until May 31, 2027.
These incentives make the Evo Grand an easily accessible, convenient, and eco-friendly alternative to gasoline vehicles for Vietnamese users. Whether you’re an office worker seeking a stylish, economical, and convenient mode of transportation or a service driver in need of a reliable and cost-effective “workhorse,” the VinFast Evo Grand is a “budget-friendly, timely choice” that’s hard to ignore.
