The 2004 Acura NSX-T is a rare find in the US market, featuring a Berlina Black exterior and Onyx leather interior. Its 3.2L V6 DOHC engine has only clocked approximately 14,000 miles, which is technically impressive for a speedster over two decades old.

What’s particularly intriguing about this NSX-T is its recent sales history. In January, it was purchased for $153,000 (plus buyer’s fees), and just days ago, it sold for $168,000. Essentially, the owner/seller made a profit, which is a testament to their understanding of this model’s value.

Nonetheless, the NSX-T is a coveted sports car. These vehicles arrived in the US in March 1995, featuring additional structural reinforcements to compensate for the loss of chassis rigidity due to the removable roof. Essentially, you sacrifice some weight for the open-top driving experience, and some enthusiasts are willing to pay for that.

Of course, this isn’t a first-generation model. Being a 2004 NSX, it has significant upgrades – fixed xenon headlights instead of pop-up units, wider tires, improved suspension, a slightly lower drag coefficient, and a host of other changes. The later-model NSXs like this one also have a more substantial look compared to their early- and mid-90s counterparts.

In terms of specifications, this NSX-T boasts a removable targa top, the aforementioned xenon headlights, power-adjustable mirrors, an integrated rear wing with LED brake lights, and 17-inch forged wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova tires. By the way, I absolutely adore the Berlina Black exterior paint.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by Onyx leather-trimmed sports seats with power adjustments, a color-matched dashboard, center console, and door panels, as well as NSX-branded floor mats. The car also features automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose audio system, a cassette player, a six-disc CD changer, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and stainless steel sill plates with the vehicle’s serial number engraved.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 3.2-liter VTEC V6 engine producing 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
