Volkswagen has established itself as a brand offering affordable cars globally, but in Vietnam, its positioning takes a more premium approach. Consequently, Volkswagen models in Vietnam tend to be priced higher and are less accessible to the average consumer. This prompts dealerships to frequently offer promotions and discounts to attract customers. September 2025 is no exception.

A Hanoi-based dealership is offering the made-in-USA Volkswagen Teramont at a discounted price of 1.788 billion VND. The official price for this large SUV is 1.998 billion VND for the Standard version and 2.138 billion VND for the Limited edition. This means that the actual selling price of the Volkswagen Teramont at the dealership is reduced by up to 210 million VND.

For the Volkswagen Teramont X, a dealership in Ho Chi Minh City is extending its support program by offering a 50% discount on registration fees throughout September 2025. The listed prices for this model are 1.998 billion VND for the Luxury version and 2.168 billion VND for the Platinum edition. With this dealership’s promotion, customers can save between 100 and 130 million VND, depending on the chosen version.

Meanwhile, another dealership, also in Ho Chi Minh City, offers an on-the-road price of approximately 2.22 billion VND for the 2024-produced Volkswagen Teramont X Platinum. In other words, customers will save more than 200 million VND during the registration process for this vehicle.

This September, Volkswagen is also offering official promotions for some of its models. The Volkswagen Teramont X Platinum comes with a complimentary step base and one year of physical insurance. The popular MPV, Volkswagen Viloran, is offered with a free step base as well.

The Volkswagen Touareg has a promotional price of 2.368 billion VND for the Elegance version and 2.768 billion VND for the Luxury edition during this month. These two versions feature the older design.

On the other hand, the newly designed Volkswagen Touareg Highline and R-Line will come with a special offer that includes an OCP service package for three times/three years, along with a 360-degree camera. The respective prices for these two versions are 3.099 billion VND and 3.399 billion VND.

Currently, Volkswagen distributes five models in Vietnam: Teramont, Teramont X, Viloran, Touareg, Tiguan, and Golf. Among these, the Volkswagen Golf is preparing to enter the Vietnamese market with its expected price already announced. There will be a total of six versions of this model, ranging in price from 798 million to 1.898 billion VND.
