Deep discounts on the Mazda2 are now available at select dealerships in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Mazda2 1.5 AT standard version is now offered with a discount of VND 15 million, bringing the price down to just VND 403 million. The Deluxe version is priced at VND 456 million (discount of VND 3 million) and the Luxury version is now only VND 490 million (discount of VND 4 million).
The biggest discount is offered on the Mazda2 Sport 1.5L Luxury, which is now available for VND 495 million, a significant VND 42 million off the listed price. Buyers will also receive free accessories, but the offer is limited to a small batch of 2024 VIN vehicles. Notably, this discounted price is almost on par with prices of used cars of the same model currently on the market.
However, this promotion is not uniform across the country. In the northern region, the discounts on the Mazda2 are lower. For instance, the standard version is discounted by VND 18 million, bringing the price to VND 400 million, while the Sport 1.5L Luxury version is discounted by VND 10 million, resulting in a price of VND 527 million.
With these attractive discounts, the Mazda2 will directly compete with other models in the A-segment, such as the Hyundai Grand i10 (priced from VND 360 million to VND 455 million), Kia Morning (VND 349 million to VND 424 million), and the Toyota Wigo (VND 405 million).
Despite not being the best-selling sedan, the Mazda2 has maintained stable sales. In July 2025, it sold 440 units, bringing the year-to-date sales to 2,833 units. In a declining sedan market, these numbers are notable, allowing the Mazda2 to retain its presence.
The Mazda2 retains its KODO design language, with the high-end version featuring adaptive LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a body-colored grille. It comes with a 7-inch display, Mazda Connect, and support for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Conveniences such as auto-dimming mirrors and a head-up display are exclusive to the higher-end trim.
Powering the Mazda2 is the SkyActiv 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, producing 110 horsepower. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The higher-end versions are equipped with the i-Activsense safety package, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and G-Vectoring Control technology.
