The all-new Genesis G90 made its debut in South Korea in 2021, aiming to compete with luxury heavyweights like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8L, and BMW 7-Series. Its design features striking updates, and the interior has been refreshed for a more luxurious feel.

Recently, the new Genesis G90 has been publicly listed on social media after nearly a year of private sales. While its price has been adjusted to a more “reasonable” level, it still falls short of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in terms of cost. However, don’t mistake this for affordability—it’s still a premium offering.

The Genesis G90 is a direct competitor to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8L, and BMW 7-Series. However, its 6 billion VND price tag doesn’t quite measure up to its German rivals. The Genesis G90 is available in two variants: standard and Limousine.

In terms of dimensions, the Genesis G90 Limousine boasts a length of 5,465 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,490 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,370 mm. Compared to the standard model, the Limousine’s wheelbase is extended by 190 mm, offering a significantly more spacious interior.

Externally, the Genesis G90 Limousine can be distinguished from the standard model by its unique 20-inch alloy wheels and chrome-plated B-pillar, adding a touch of luxury. Additionally, the Limousine comes standard with a multi-chamber air suspension system and an active rear-wheel steering system.

Inside, the full-size luxury sedan features a premium interior with leather upholstery and wood trim. It’s equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster seamlessly integrated with the center display, a fingerprint scanner for engine start, and a climate control system with a dedicated screen and rotary gear selector on the center console.

Additional features include over-the-air software updates via Wi-Fi, a Bang & Olufsen 23-speaker sound system with pop-up tweeters, two panoramic sunroofs, and customizable interior ambient lighting.

The vehicle also includes an in-car fragrance system with three scents, power curtains, front seats with four massage modes, VIP rear seats, and two 10.2-inch touchscreens for rear passengers.

The Genesis G90 Limousine is powered by a mild-hybrid drivetrain, combining a 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine with a 48V electric supercharger. This setup delivers a maximum output of 415 horsepower at 5,800 rpm.

The standard Genesis G90, on the other hand, is equipped with a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, producing 375 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive as standard or optional all-wheel drive.
