The Ford Bronco Raptor stands out as one of the most notable off-road vehicles on the market, equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers a maximum power output of 418 horsepower and a peak torque of 596 Nm.
However, these figures pale in comparison to the Jeep Wrangler 392’s 6.4L Hemi V8 engine, which generates an impressive 470 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque.
According to Carscoops, Ford may introduce an off-road supercar priced around $300,000, inspired by Dakar Rally race cars. While the idea may seem far-fetched, the success of the Mustang GTD could pave the way for Ford to develop this off-road supercar.
Ford CEO Jim Farley recently shared this concept during a Bloomberg podcast.
Setting aside Farley’s controversial statements, such as dismissing Porsche’s off-road presence or claiming no other brand has an off-road supercar, the Ford executive hinted at a potential 1,000-horsepower vehicle with an electric motor as part of its powertrain.

Farley emphasized that this vehicle would offer extensive customization options, including adjustable suspension travel, shock absorbers, and ground clearance. He clarified that it would not be a pickup truck and could compete in off-road racing events.
This supercar is expected to excel on gravel, sand, and mud terrains but may not be suitable for rocky landscapes. Farley mentioned ongoing discussions with his team about the vehicle’s configuration, including whether it will be a two-seater or four-seater.
Ford has yet to make an official decision about this project, but Farley expressed serious consideration. He believes modern supercars lack diversity, and Ford’s initiative could introduce a unique offering to the market.
