Wuling Xingguang (Starlight) 730

The Xingguang 730 is built on Wuling’s new energy architecture, incorporating the advanced “Sky-Spirit-God” technology suite. Its standout feature is the diverse powertrain options, including traditional gasoline, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and pure electric, catering to a wide range of customer needs.

– The gasoline variant features a 1.5T engine with an output of 130 kW (174 hp).

– The hybrid version combines a 1.5L 78 kW engine with an electric motor.

– The all-electric model boasts a 100 kW (134 hp) motor, with battery options of 54.5 kWh or 60 kWh, offering ranges of 450 km and 500 km, respectively, under the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) standards.

In terms of design, the gasoline and hybrid versions feature a bold, large grille. The electric variant adopts a minimalist aesthetic, retaining only the lower grille and finished in all-black for a distinctive look. All models are equipped with dual-strip LED daytime running lights and aerodynamic air intakes, enhancing brand recognition.

The vehicle measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm, ensuring a spacious interior across all three rows of seating.

The cabin features a floating center screen complemented by physical buttons for intuitive operation. It includes wireless phone charging and a 7-seat configuration (2+2+3), with the second-row seats offering adjustable recline for versatility in various usage scenarios.

SGMW is renowned in China for its affordable vehicles. While the official pricing has yet to be announced, local media predicts a starting price of around $15,000 USD (approximately 400 million Vietnamese Dong), positioning the Xingguang 730 as the most affordable 7-seater MPV on the market.
