On the evening of September 25th, Toyota Vietnam’s 30th-anniversary celebration took place in Hanoi, graced by the presence of leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Phu Tho Province, Toyota Asia, and the Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam.

During the event, Mr. Nakano Keita, CEO of Toyota Vietnam, shared: “Toyota Vietnam is set to modernize its new headquarters and manufacturing facilities, while also launching its first Hybrid vehicle production line, with a total investment of over $360 million.”

Mr. Tien Quoc Hao, Chairman of Toyota Asia, presents a commemorative gift for Toyota Vietnam’s 30th anniversary.

Mr. Tien Quoc Hao, Chairman of Toyota Asia and Senior Managing Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation overseeing Asia, added: “Vietnam is a nation with a young, dynamic, and highly promising population. We are committed to leveraging multi-dimensional technologies to support the mobility needs of all, ensuring no one is left behind.”

Over its 30-year journey, Toyota has achieved remarkable milestones: becoming the first automotive brand in Vietnam to produce over 700,000 vehicles, deliver more than 1 million vehicles to customers, and service over 20 million vehicles through its official after-sales network. Cumulative export revenue from parts and components has reached nearly $1 billion. The company has contributed over $14.4 billion to the state budget, ranking among Vietnam’s top 10 taxpayers in 2024. Toyota has also invested nearly $32 million in corporate social responsibility initiatives. Additionally, the company has fostered Vietnam’s supporting industries by building a robust local supply chain with 61 suppliers, including 13 Vietnamese enterprises and over 1,000 localized components.

Looking ahead, Toyota pledges to continue delivering high-quality, reliable products and services, along with diverse mobility solutions and community-focused social initiatives.
