A Thai entrepreneur recently shared images and videos of taking delivery of the million-dollar Ferrari Daytona SP3, a limited-edition supercar with only 599 units produced worldwide. Ownership is exclusive, as Ferrari extends invitations to select buyers rather than offering it for open purchase.

This news quickly captured the attention of both media outlets and automotive enthusiasts in Thailand. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is priced at $2.3 million, and prospective buyers must already own a Monza SP to qualify for purchase.

Like Vietnam, Thailand imposes some of the highest taxes on supercars globally. To avoid these exorbitant fees, the entrepreneur purchased the Ferrari Daytona SP3 from a dealership in Germany, where it will remain for personal use rather than being registered in Thailand.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a unique hybrid of a coupe and a roadster, blending both designs into a single model. With only 599 units available, its exclusivity is expected to drive its value significantly higher—potentially two to four times its initial price—in the coming years.

The front of the Daytona SP3 features a striking splitter and front bumper, reminiscent of the 1967 330 P4 but modernized with a lower nose and widened fenders. Its complex LED headlights flip up, and the body incorporates active aerodynamics with horizontal air vents. Like the LaFerrari, the SP3 boasts butterfly doors with distinctive air outlets and a domed windshield.

The rear of the Daytona SP3 is equally impressive, with a horizontal LED light bar, an adjustable spoiler, and carbon fiber diffusers. Twin trapezoidal exhaust tips mounted high on the rear deliver the roaring soundtrack of the V12 engine. The car rides on bespoke five-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

Powering the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, producing 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission and an electronic differential, enabling the hypercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds.
