The Mercedes-Maybach S650 was originally designed to cater to chairmen, successful entrepreneurs, and those seeking the prestige of an ultra-luxury vehicle at a more accessible price than a Rolls-Royce Phantom. However, for those desiring something even more exclusive, Mercedes-Benz introduced the Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman. With its 6.5-meter length, three-compartment layout, and opulent interior, this model leaves other ultra-luxury vehicles in its shadow.

At least three Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman units have arrived in Vietnam. If you thought this was the pinnacle of luxury, think again. The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman Guard is not for the faint-hearted. Instead, it’s tailored for business leaders who demand the opulence of the Pullman but require additional safety features to protect against potential ballistic threats while on the move.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman Guard features ultra-thick windows, reinforced floor panels, and potentially a fortified roof. Its ballistic protection level is VR9, ensuring it can withstand gunfire and small explosive devices long enough to keep you and your driver safe.

Currently listed for sale, this vehicle boasts an extensive array of features, including sun protection, air quality, exclusivity, lighting, front safety for rear passengers, seating comfort, rear entertainment, and more. It also includes four individual rear seats, with the rear-facing seats foldable to provide extra legroom for the remaining passengers.

Additional amenities include a standard phone package, rear climate control, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, front and rear air conditioning, night vision system, automatic headlights, rear folding tables, dynamic LED headlights, rear entertainment system with remote control, DVD changer, digital TV, Magic Vision Control, ambient lighting, and more.

Thanks to its massive size—essentially an extended version of the standard Mercedes-Maybach S-Class—the S 650 Pullman Guard is instantly recognizable. Its exterior color is a bold black, exuding confidence and authority.

It features standard chrome accents, run-flat tires, and a beige interior with premium leather upholstery, black trim, additional black accents, and wooden inlays.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine, it delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm) of torque. Its combined fuel consumption is rated at 11.4 mpg (20.6 L/100 km).

Without ballistic protection, the standard model can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.5 seconds—an impressive feat. However, the added weight from reinforced metal and thick windows significantly increases the Guard’s weight, making it noticeably slower than its non-armored counterpart.

This Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Pullman Guard, finished in Obsidian Black Metallic with a Nappa leather interior, has only traveled approximately 4,400 miles (7,100 km). First registered in June 2018, this six-seat armored vehicle is now seeking a new owner.

Priced at €1,428,000 including taxes (approximately $1.7 million at current exchange rates), this vehicle is available at Hollmann International, the same dealership that brought two Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman units to Vietnam.
