Hanoi Sports Training Center, Hanoi Volleyball Association, and Tasco Auto Joint Stock Company have officially signed a Cooperation Agreement and announced the new name of the Hanoi – Tasco Auto Women’s Volleyball Club.
This partnership marks a significant milestone, providing the Hanoi women’s volleyball team with additional resources to enhance their professional quality and sustainable development. Tasco Auto reinforces its commitment to supporting Hanoi’s sports scene, aligning its brand with the core values of sportsmanship: speed, intensity, and resilience.
The Hanoi women’s volleyball team is a familiar name in Vietnam’s volleyball community. In 2023, the club won the National A-Class Championship and earned a spot in the 2024 National Championship. However, with a young and inexperienced roster and no foreign players, the team struggled to compete and was relegated back to the A-Class Championship after just one year. Despite this setback, Hanoi remains a highly regarded youth training hub, showcasing promising talents like Ánh Thảo and Thùy Linh.
At the conclusion of the 2025 A-Class Championship group stage, Hanoi secured a spot in the top 8 teams advancing to the finals, scheduled from October 23 to November 2 in Quảng Trị.
Driven by ambition, the team faces challenges in professional development due to limited financial resources and investment. The strategic partnership between the Hanoi Volleyball Association and Tasco Auto is a determined step forward, raising new expectations. It aims not only to enhance professional quality but also to build the team’s brand, increase its media presence, and strengthen the impact of both the team and its partners. This collaboration opens up new possibilities: the club will improve its competitive edge, gain resources to excel in national tournaments, and serve as a community connector, fostering a positive image and greater media reach for the team, its sponsors, and Hanoi’s sports scene as a whole.
The event was attended by representatives from the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Vietnam Volleyball Federation, Hanoi Volleyball Association, and Tasco leadership. This underscores the strong collaboration among government agencies, sports organizations, and businesses in advancing Hanoi’s sports movement.
A representative from the Hanoi Volleyball Association stated, “For the first time, Hanoi’s women’s volleyball team has secured long-term support from a major enterprise like Tasco Auto. This is a pivotal moment, providing the team with a solid foundation for professional growth and expanding opportunities to connect with fans and the community. We are confident that this partnership will elevate the team’s status and promote a love for sports across society.”
Under the agreement, starting October 2025 and continuing long-term, Tasco Auto will partner with the Hanoi – Tasco Auto Women’s Volleyball Club. This collaboration not only supports the team’s resources but also demonstrates Tasco Auto’s commitment to Hanoi’s sports development and Vietnamese volleyball as a whole. A Tasco Auto representative shared, “Tasco Auto is proud to partner with volleyball—a sport that embodies speed, intensity, efficiency, and agility—values that align with our operational principles. More importantly, we aim to grow alongside a team with a strong youth training tradition, fostering mutual development rather than pursuing short-term success with an already established team.”
The tripartite collaboration among Hanoi Sports Training Center, Hanoi Volleyball Association, and Tasco Auto creates opportunities for the Hanoi – Tasco Auto Women’s Volleyball Club to thrive, solidify its position in national competitions, inspire sports enthusiasm, and ignite passion for volleyball nationwide.
