As part of the three-day “Ride To Trust, Made by Yadea” journey, Vietnamese media representatives had the opportunity to directly experience YADEA’s manufacturing system in China.
The tour took guests to four key facilities: the electric vehicle assembly plant, the battery factory, the R&D center, and the motor factory – all showcasing YADEA’s integrated production capabilities, which solidify its position as the world’s leading two-wheeled electric vehicle manufacturer.
Four Impressive Stops
Kim Zhai Assembly Plant (Anhui)
Located in Anhui Province, the Kim Zhai plant spans 67,000 m² with a nearly fully automated production line. The process is divided into distinct stages: plastic molding, frame welding, anti-rust electrophoretic painting, color painting, and final assembly. Workers primarily focus on quality control at each stage. On average, a vehicle rolls off the line every 25 seconds, with an annual capacity of approximately 5 million units.
Huayu Battery Factory (Hangzhou)
Batteries are the core component of electric vehicles, and the Huayu factory in Hangzhou is where YADEA produces, tests, and optimizes its entire energy storage system. Here, YADEA develops both lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries – a new technology promising lower costs and higher safety.
The closed production process includes battery cell inspection, thermal resistance testing, durability checks, and charge-discharge cycle life assessments. Notably, fast-charging technology allows batteries to reach 30% to 80% capacity in just 15 minutes. Additionally, customers can conveniently swap batteries at service stations.
Headquarters & R&D Center in Wuxi (Jiangsu)
YADEA’s R&D headquarters in Wuxi is often referred to as the company’s “brain.” Here, hundreds of engineers work in specialized laboratories, conducting over 220 component tests and 41 complete vehicle tests.
These tests include frame durability, battery waterproofing, motor performance, and crash simulations under various conditions. The center also features a showroom displaying YADEA’s entire product range, from standard and premium models to futuristic concept vehicles.
Lingbo Motor Factory (Wuxi)
Motors are a critical technology, and YADEA has invested heavily to master the entire production process at the Lingbo factory. The automated line ensures consistency, from coil winding and controller assembly to final motor assembly.
The factory produces a wide range of motors, from low-power urban models to high-performance motors for off-road and sports vehicles. Before leaving the factory, each motor undergoes rigorous testing for efficiency, noise, vibration, and durability.
Comprehensive Integration Advantage
The tour highlights that YADEA goes beyond assembly, owning a fully integrated production chain from basic components to finished products. By controlling key stages such as batteries, motors, frames, and testing systems, the company ensures consistent quality and enhances its global reputation.
Alongside product development, YADEA is heavily investing in research and application of new technologies like sodium-ion batteries and fast-charging systems, aligning with sustainable trends in the electric vehicle industry.
Plans in Vietnam
In the Vietnamese market, YADEA is constructing its second factory in Bac Ninh, scheduled to begin operations in early 2026. This underscores Vietnam’s importance as a key market in Southeast Asia, alongside Indonesia and Thailand.
With its integrated production capabilities, stringent quality control, and commitment to sustainable development, YADEA continues to strengthen its leadership in the two-wheeled electric vehicle industry while expanding its presence in emerging markets, including Vietnam.
Yadea Celebrates a Milestone: 400,000 Electric Motorcycles Rolled Out in Vietnam
Yadea, a leading brand in the world of electric two-wheelers, has achieved a significant milestone in its journey in Vietnam. The company is proud to announce that it has rolled out its 400,000th electric vehicle from its state-of-the-art factory in Bac Ninh. This milestone underscores Yadea’s commitment to leading the electric mobility revolution in Vietnam and beyond.
The Great Debate: Electric vs. Hybrid Cars – Who’s Cleaner? A Stirring Statement by Toyota’s Chairman.
“In a thought-provoking statement, Toyota’s Chairman, Akio Toyoda, sparked debate around the environmental impact of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). During an interview in April, he asserted, ‘The carbon emissions of 9 million BEVs are equivalent to those of 27 million hybrid vehicles.’ This bold claim invites scrutiny and discussion, challenging us to reconsider the assumptions around the sustainability of electric cars.”
