In July 2025, Volkswagen announced the opening of reservations for the Golf model in Vietnam, with a limited quantity to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this iconic car’s global debut. Now, the first batch of Volkswagen Golf vehicles has been spotted being transported on Vietnamese streets.

Images circulating online reveal two distinct Volkswagen Golf models being transported on a truck. The upper vehicle is the standard 1.5 eTSI, while the lower one is the premium GTI variant.

According to the company’s earlier announcement, the Golf lineup in Vietnam will include three standard versions: 1.5 eTSI Life, 1.5 eTSI Style, and 1.5 eTSI R-Line, priced at 798 million, 898 million, and 998 million VND, respectively. Following these are the 2.0 TSI GTI Lite and 2.0 TSI GTI Performance, ranging from 1.288 to 1.468 billion VND. The high-performance R Performance 4Motion variant is expected to be priced at 1.898 billion VND.

The three 1.5 eTSI versions boast notable exterior features such as IQ-Light Matrix LED headlights, R-Line sport bumpers, a rear spoiler, enhanced LED taillights, and 18-inch Bergamo wheels.

Compared to the 1.5 eTSI, the Volkswagen Golf GTI boasts a sportier design and more impressive features. This is evident in the GTI logo placed in multiple locations, IQ-Light Matrix LED headlights, a sport front bumper, a rear spoiler, “X”-shaped fog lights, red brake calipers, and dual exhausts.
