Following the iconic models such as the Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sian, and Countach LPI 800-4, launched in 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2021 respectively, Lamborghini has unveiled yet another limited-production, million-dollar masterpiece: the Fenomeno.
True to Lamborghini’s style, this unique vehicle is named after a famous fighting bull. According to the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer, the bull fought in Morelia, Mexico, back in 2002.
Limited to just 29 units, with a starting price of approximately €3 million (around $3.5 million), the Lamborghini Fenomeno is poised to become a highly sought-after collector’s item, destined to appreciate in value. Recently, the vehicle made its debut at an exclusive event for high-net-worth individuals in the UK.
Given the UK’s affluent population’s penchant for limited-edition Lamborghini supercars, it’s expected that several Fenomeno units will find their way to British shores, despite the extremely limited production run.
The Fenomeno is Lamborghini’s fastest production car to date, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.7 seconds.
This makes it 0.1 seconds quicker than the Revuelto in both tests, though the difference is unlikely to be noticeable to anyone but professional racers.
The Fenomeno retains the Revuelto’s naturally aspirated V12 engine. The 6.5-liter powerhouse has been tuned to deliver 823 horsepower, a slight improvement over the Revuelto’s 813 hp. Supported by three electric motors, the combined output reaches 1,065 horsepower, 64 hp more than the Revuelto.
Compared to the Revuelto, the Fenomeno features a less aggressive front fascia with distinct LED daytime running lights. The front bumper appears more intricate, and the hood has a more menacing design, though overall, the Revuelto may have the edge in this department.
Similarly, the rear end of the Fenomeno seems somewhat “unfinished.” The Y-shaped taillights are now vertically oriented instead of horizontal, as seen on the Revuelto.
For a multi-million-dollar machine, the interior feels surprisingly ordinary compared to its more mainstream sibling. Virtually everything remains unchanged, from the dashboard and steering wheel to the center console, digital gauges, infotainment screen, and passenger display.
However, prospective buyers are unlikely to be deterred, as they’ll be acquiring one of the rarest and most extraordinary vehicles on the planet.
