Recently, a Mercedes-AMG G63 with a stunning Brabus body kit was spotted on the streets of Hanoi, capturing the attention of car enthusiasts. Beyond the debates about whether it’s an authentic Brabus or a custom upgrade, the vehicle’s standout feature is its rare license plate, a five-digit sequence ending in four 4s.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 bears the license plate 29A-444.44, a number that may ring a bell for those familiar with luxury cars and their prestigious plates. This particular five-digit sequence, once famously associated with a gold-plated Range Rover, has now found its way onto this Brabus-tuned masterpiece.

Brabus has revolutionized the Mercedes-AMG G63 with the 800 Widestar edition, introducing bold design elements that exude personality. The front grille features a prominent “B” emblem, replacing the traditional three-pointed star, and is accented with carbon fiber. The most striking change is the fully carbon fiber hood, complete with dual air vents to cool the vehicle’s powerful engine.
Carbon fiber, a premium and lightweight material, is extensively used throughout the Brabus 800 Widestar, even on the door handles. A massive air intake behind the front wheel arches and the Biturbo 800 logo hint at the vehicle’s immense power, positioning it just below the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition in terms of performance.
The Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition 24-inch alloy wheels add a bold and rugged touch to the exterior. Even the spare tire, a signature feature of the Mercedes-AMG G63, is encased in carbon fiber on this high-value Brabus edition.
The Brabus 800 Widestar isn’t just about aesthetics; it also boasts significant performance upgrades. Brabus has meticulously tuned the standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, pushing its output to an impressive 789 horsepower—a 212 horsepower increase over the stock model. The maximum torque reaches a staggering 1,000 Nm.
These enhancements have dramatically improved the vehicle’s performance, reducing the 0-100 km/h sprint time to just 4.1 seconds. The top speed remains electronically limited to 240 km/h. The 9-speed transmission is paired with upgraded aluminum paddle shifters branded with the Brabus Race logo.
