Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has officially announced the launch date for the new generation of its mid-size luxury sedan, the E-Class.

The W214 model will debut at the “Launch and Exhibition of the New Generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class” event, taking place at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi on October 16–17, 2025.

According to dealership information, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class in Vietnam will continue to be locally assembled rather than fully imported. The sedan will be available in three variants: E 200 Avantgarde, E 200 Exclusive, and E 300 AMG.

Local assembly ensures the E-Class maintains its competitive edge in the segment while stabilizing supply. Dealerships began accepting deposits for the new model in late August.

While official pricing has yet to be announced, a slight increase is expected compared to current levels. The E-Class is currently available in Vietnam with the following variants: E 180 (VND 2.09 billion), E 200 Exclusive (VND 2.39 billion), and E 300 AMG (VND 2.95 billion).

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, codenamed W214, adopts a design language inspired by its flagship sibling, the S-Class. It boasts a sleek, luxurious, and modern silhouette.

A standout feature is the illuminated LED strip integrated into the grille, creating a striking visual effect at night. The rear lights feature the iconic three-pointed star pattern, enhancing the E-Class’s recognizability, especially in low-light conditions.

Previous unveilings in Hanoi showcased the 2025 E-Class’s cabin, featuring power-adjustable leather seats with heating and cooling functions. The centerpiece is a state-of-the-art digital instrument cluster.

Notably, the E 300 AMG variant will feature the Superscreen system, comprising three displays: a 12.3-inch driver’s screen, a 17.7-inch central touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. This setup surpasses even some variants of the current S-Class.

In contrast, the E 200 Avantgarde and Exclusive variants will feature a dual-screen setup, including a digital instrument cluster and a central infotainment screen.

In the Vietnamese market, the 2025 E-Class is expected to offer two engine options.

The E 200 Avantgarde/Exclusive will likely feature a 2.0L I4 engine producing 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the E 300 AMG will house a 2.0L I4 engine delivering 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

Both variants will be paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The mild-hybrid technology not only improves fuel efficiency but also provides smoother acceleration, enhancing the driving experience in various conditions.

During the two-day event, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition area at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the sedan’s design, technology, and latest features firsthand.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz will feature a display of classic E-Class models, showcasing the evolution of this iconic lineup over more than half a century. This exhibit highlights the enduring legacy of one of the brand’s flagship vehicles.
