Ahead of the Japan Mobility Show 2025, set to commence on October 30th, Suzuki has officially unveiled its all-new Vision e-Sky concept car online. This preview offers a glimpse into Suzuki’s future compact electric vehicle (EV) lineup.

Suzuki Vision e-Sky: Japan’s Tiny EV Could Challenge Chinese Competitors.

The Suzuki Vision e-Sky was developed as an EV from the ground up, embodying the brand’s new design philosophy: “Unique, Smart, Positive.”

At the front, the Vision e-Sky features a stylish LED light bar, including a multi-segment central LED cluster. Flanking this are the main headlights and C-shaped daytime running lights. The thick C-pillar, which visually separates the roof from the body, adds a modern “floating” effect.

Enhancing its futuristic appeal are hidden door handles, aerodynamically optimized side mirrors, and a subtle rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lights. The flat front and rear sections contribute to a robust stance, though these design choices may impact interior space.

The official design also showcases a two-tone exterior, with a contrasting white roof and black pillars. Slightly flared wheel arches house aerodynamic wheels seamlessly integrated into the body.

Suzuki reports dimensions of 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height. While taller than the Suzuki S-Presso, it is more compact in length and width.

The interior mirrors the exterior’s modernity, featuring a trendy square-shaped steering wheel with rounded edges and multifunction controls on a glossy black backdrop. Dual digital displays include an instrument cluster showing vital information such as battery level, remaining range, speed, and lighting status.

The floating dashboard design harmonizes with the surrounding interior. An LED strip across the dashboard adds a premium touch. The gear selector, positioned beneath the dashboard, simplifies shifting between P, R, N, and D modes. However, the exterior mirror controls may be repositioned in the production model.

The cabin features a tasteful blend of blue and purple tones, complemented by beige accents on the lower seat sections and armrests. The split design of the front seats enhances the elegant and upscale ambiance.

The commercial version of the Suzuki Vision e-Sky is slated for global release in fiscal year 2026. While detailed specifications remain undisclosed, Suzuki confirms a maximum range of over 270 km.

Currently, information on this EV is limited. However, reports suggest Suzuki may develop an electric hatchback specifically for the Indian market, based on the K-EV platform, with an expected launch between 2026 and 2027. The commercial Vision e-Sky could be this very model.
