According to a study by iSeeCars.com, Toyota tops the rankings for producing the most durable vehicles. On average, 17.8% of Toyotas reach 250,000 miles, thanks to rugged SUVs and trucks like the 4Runner, Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra. Sedans and hybrids such as the Avalon, Camry, and Prius are equally reliable.

Lexus, Toyota’s luxury brand, ranks second, followed by Honda and Acura. These four brands surpass the industry average of 4.8%, cementing their leadership in producing long-lasting vehicles.

Japanese cars have long been renowned for their quality and durability,” says Karl Brauer, senior analyst at iSeeCars. “After analyzing lifecycle data from over 174 million vehicles, we confirm that Japanese brands’ reputation is well-deserved. Toyota, Lexus, Honda, and Acura excel in producing vehicles that consistently reach 250,000 miles.”
