VinFast has officially become the first Vietnamese automotive brand to surpass the 100,000 vehicle sales milestone in just the first three quarters of the year. This remarkable achievement follows 11 consecutive months of being Vietnam’s best-selling car brand, with a steadily growing market share that solidifies VinFast’s undisputed leadership in the domestic market.

In September 2025, VinFast sold 13,914 electric vehicles, bringing the total sales from the beginning of the year through Q3 to 103,884 units—an unprecedented figure in Vietnam’s automotive history.

Leading the sales chart is the VF 3, dubbed the “national electric vehicle,” with a total of 31,386 units sold in the first nine months, including 2,682 units in September alone.

The VF 5 secured the second spot with 30,956 units sold in the first three quarters, including 3,847 units in September. Its service-optimized variant, the Herio Green, achieved 8,604 cumulative sales, with 2,173 units delivered in September.

The VF 6 ranked third, with 14,425 units sold since the beginning of the year, including 1,933 units in September, and many more orders awaiting delivery.

The VF 7 also delivered impressive results, becoming one of the most popular C-SUVs with 5,877 units sold in nine months and 778 units in September.

The Limo Green, a 7-seater MPV optimized for service businesses, saw a significant surge in September, delivering 2,120 units to customers.

With the peak sales months of Q4 ahead and expanded production capacity at its Hai Phong and Ha Tinh factories, VinFast is poised to set even more impressive records by the end of 2025.

Commenting on the breakthrough achievements of the first nine months, Ms. Dương Thị Thu Trang – Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing at VinFast, stated: “Behind the 100,000 vehicle sales are millions of customers’ trust and support for VinFast. We are deeply grateful to our consumers and commit to continuously delivering greater value to them, driving Vietnam’s green transformation forward.”

VinFast’s consistent outperformance of both domestic and international gasoline and electric vehicle brands for 11 straight months, coupled with its record-breaking 100,000 sales in nine months, cements its undisputed No. 1 position in Vietnam’s automotive market.

This achievement also highlights the unprecedented rise of Vietnam’s automotive industry, as a local brand surpasses international competitors to become the top choice for most consumers.

Significantly, VinFast’s sales record is a key indicator that electric vehicles have become the dominant consumer trend in Vietnam. This trend not only ensures VinFast’s positive and sustainable business outlook but also reinforces Vietnam’s potential to become a global leader in electric vehicle adoption in the near future.
