The Vietnam Off-Road Auto Race PVOIL Cup 2025 (PVOIL VOC 2025) will take place over 3 days, starting on Friday, October 31st, and concluding on Sunday, November 2nd.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 1st, with the closing ceremony at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 2nd.

This year’s event features 70 racing teams, 140 athletes, and 4 competition categories. The scale of organization and management has nearly doubled compared to last year, evident in the increased number of race tracks and challenges per category. Now in its 18th year, the event continues to be supported by its title sponsor, Vietnam Oil Corporation – JSC (PVOIL).

THE LARGEST SCALE EVER

In its 18th edition, PVOIL VOC 2025 reaffirms its position as Vietnam’s largest off-road auto race. This year, the event’s scale has expanded significantly in both space and competition content.

The familiar hilly terrain has been entirely reshaped to accommodate dedicated race tracks, experience zones, and logistical areas for teams. For the first time, the organizing committee has also developed dozens of hectares of previously unused natural forests and swamps, creating a completely new and diverse competition map.

Beyond the terrain, the event space has been refreshed. The central stage, entrance gate, and management area have been relocated outside the main road, expanding the area for ceremonies, exhibitions, and partner presentations, making it more accessible for spectators and media.

Notably, the number of race tracks has nearly doubled, from 14 to 24—a record in VOC history. Correspondingly, the number of challenges per category has increased significantly:

Professional Category (new name for the Open Category): From 9 to 17 challenges (including Adventure – night race)

Advanced SUV Category: From 8 to 13 challenges (including Adventure – night race)

Advanced Pickup Category: From 8 to 12 challenges (including Adventure – night race)

Basic Category: From 7 to 10 challenges

With this expanded scale, for the first time, all 4 categories will compete continuously over the three days. The return of the Adventure night race remains a symbol of VOC’s toughness, drama, and spirit of teamwork and conquest.

ELEVATED ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

With its unprecedented scale and record number of race tracks, PVOIL VOC 2025 promises to be the most intense, fierce, and professional edition in its history. Each track is designed to test not only driving skills but also the resilience and teamwork of the teams.

This year’s organization and management have been elevated to a new level, matching the event’s expanded scale. The 24 race tracks are organized into 6 independent zones, ensuring smooth monitoring, scoring, and live broadcasting. This setup maintains a continuous and unpredictable competition rhythm for both athletes and spectators.

With 70 teams and approximately 700 race entries, this year’s event presents a massive challenge for the organizing committee, referees, security, rescue, medical, and logistics teams—all operating at maximum capacity for three consecutive days.

These changes reflect the event’s growing scale and demonstrate the organizing committee’s commitment to professionalism, responsibility, and investment in making PVOIL VOC a widely recognized off-road racing festival in the region.

OFF-ROAD RACING FESTIVAL

Over the years, PVOIL VOC has continuously evolved into a comprehensive off-road racing festival, featuring diverse activities centered around intense competitions among the most talented drivers. This year, the event will once again celebrate the spirit of conquest, teamwork, and passion.

The festival atmosphere is further amplified by the return of the Adventure night race—a signature challenge of VOC. Under dim lighting and harsh terrain, teams of 3-5 vehicles must coordinate closely, navigate through forests, and cross streams to reach the finish line. The night race not only tests vehicle endurance but also honors teamwork, resilience, and perseverance—qualities unique to PVOIL VOC.

Athletes from all 4 categories will compete non-stop from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM over the 3 days (October 31st – November 2nd), creating an unprecedented atmosphere of excitement and tension. This demands thorough preparation from athletes in terms of vehicles, skills, and strategy, while also placing higher expectations on the organizing committee, referees, and technical teams to ensure a smooth and accurate event.

With live streaming of each challenge, spectators can witness the most dramatic moments, impressive maneuvers, and unique strategies of the drivers. Commentators and technical experts will provide in-depth analysis, offering viewers a deeper understanding of the skills, tactics, and true sportsmanship on display.

Attendees at PVOIL VOC 2025 can also participate in various festival activities around the race tracks. Booths from PVOIL, Ford Vietnam, Toyota Vietnam, Visa Vietnam, and other partners will feature interactive games and attractive gifts, transforming the event into a vibrant and energetic automotive festival.

Driving enthusiasts can test the power of off-road vehicles at the terrain test-drive zones organized by Ford Vietnam and Toyota Vietnam. These zones simulate a portion of the athletes’ challenges, offering an exhilarating experience. The technical team has meticulously designed and constructed these zones to ensure both thrilling moments and maximum safety, under the guidance of professional instructors.

PVOIL VOC 2025 is more than a competition—it’s an emotional journey where the roar of engines blends with the excitement of thousands of spectators, creating Vietnam’s largest and most emotionally charged automotive festival.
