The McLaren Artura Spider, the latest open-top supercar from McLaren, has quickly captured the attention of Vietnamese elite. Approximately three units of this stunning vehicle have already made their way to Vietnam, with one even available as a pre-owned option.

This particular McLaren Artura Spider, finished in a vibrant orange hue, is offered by a reputable pre-owned car dealership in District 7. According to the seller, the car has barely been driven, with just over 1,000 km on the odometer, ensuring its pristine condition. The asking price, however, remains undisclosed.

What sets the McLaren Artura Spider apart is its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, paired with an electric motor, delivering an impressive 690 horsepower—a 19 hp increase over the coupe variant. This powerhouse generates a maximum torque of 722 Nm. The rear-wheel-drive supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds and 300 km/h in 21.6 seconds. Its top speed is an astonishing 330 km/h.

The Artura Spider is equipped with an 8-speed SSG automatic transmission, enhanced for 25% faster gear shifts. Notably, the electric motor handles reverse gear, a feature absent in the coupe version. With a 7.4 kWh battery, the car can travel up to 35 km on electric power alone. It offers four driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Track, and the default Electric (E) mode.

The McLaren Artura Spider’s retractable hardtop operates in under 11 seconds, mirroring the McLaren 720S Spider. This roof can be opened while driving, provided the car’s speed remains below 50 km/h.

McLaren’s expertise in carbon fiber technology is evident in the Artura Spider’s chassis, ensuring structural rigidity even with the top down. Weighing just 1,457 kg (dry weight), it’s 61 kg heavier than the coupe but still claims the title of the lightest supercar in its class.
