Amanda Toh-Steckler, a prominent Singaporean businesswoman and investor, has recently made headlines by adding the Pagani Utopia to her exclusive collection of luxury vehicles.
Beyond her investments and philanthropy, Amanda Toh-Steckler is renowned for introducing Singapore’s traditional kopitiam coffee culture to the U.S. market. Her professional success and financial stability have enabled her and her husband to pursue their passion for collecting supercars.
Her collection boasts several dozen sports cars, including rare hypercars and megacars. In 2024, Amanda participated in the Gumball 3000 rally, starting from Vietnam, behind the wheel of a limited-edition McLaren 765LT Spider. This year, she continues her journey with Gumball 3000, now driving the Pagani Utopia, one of the world’s most exclusive supercars.
The Pagani Utopia is the latest masterpiece from the Italian marque, succeeding iconic models like the Zonda and Huayra. Only 99 units will be produced globally, each starting at approximately $2.5 million (65.9 billion VND), surpassing the Huayra by $1.2 million (31.6 billion VND).
In Singapore, only two Utopias have been spotted, with Amanda’s model standing out in a unique blue hue complemented by red carbon fiber accents, enhancing its exclusivity and collectible value.
Pagani is celebrated for its distinctive design language, with each generation of cars bearing unique signatures. While the Zonda is known for its scissor doors and the Huayra for its gullwing doors, the Utopia introduces butterfly doors—a first for the brand.
Horacio Pagani, the brand’s founder, describes the Utopia’s design philosophy as a “fusion of tradition and innovation,” blending classic aesthetics with cutting-edge craftsmanship.
Powering the Pagani Utopia is a twin-turbocharged 6.0L V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG, tuned to deliver superior performance. It generates 852 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque, outperforming the Huayra by 132 horsepower and 100 Nm.
This power is delivered to the rear wheels via two transmission options: a 7-speed XTrac sequential gearbox, optimized for speed and track performance, or a 7-speed manual transmission with the most intricate shifting mechanism available today. However, opting for the manual version extends the delivery time by approximately six months.
For Amanda Toh-Steckler, supercars transcend mere transportation—they embody her lifestyle and serve as a bridge to the global automotive enthusiast community. Her consecutive participation in the Gumball 3000 rally underscores her enduring commitment to this prestigious event.
Coupled with her philanthropic efforts and investments, Amanda’s presence alongside the Pagani Utopia solidifies her stature among international business leaders and luxury car aficionados.
