A Ferrari 488 GTB unexpectedly appeared on the streets of Hanoi, capturing the attention of the car enthusiast community.

Upon investigation, this is the first 488 GTB imported to Vietnam in 2019. After more than six years since its arrival in the S-shaped land, it now boasts a more distinctive and personalized appearance.

The Ferrari 488 GTB features a robust design, with a large air intake at the front, complemented by two large side air intakes. Its prominent creases and sharp vertical lines give the 488 GTB an aggressive exterior. The side profile stands out with an engine cooling air intake and a star-shaped 5-spoke wheel design that exudes strength. The rear bumper has a sporty, streamlined design with minimalist lines.

When it first arrived, the Ferrari 488 GTB was painted in the traditional Rosso Corsa red—a signature color associated with Italy’s “Prancing Horse” brand. However, it has since been refreshed with a deeper urban red, paired with a black roof, dual white stripes running along the body, and a carbon fiber front splitter. Notably, the hood now features a white accent line, adding a sporty and unique touch compared to the original design.

These modifications highlight the owner’s significant effort to personalize the vehicle.

At the heart of the Ferrari 488 GTB is a twin-turbocharged 3.9L V8 engine, delivering 661 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 760 Nm at 3,000 rpm. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, complete with F1-style paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.

Thanks to this setup, the 488 GTB accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 330 km/h. Despite being a high-performance sports car, the 488 GTB is highly regarded for its agile handling, ease of control, and the precise driving experience that Ferrari is renowned for.
