Honda Vietnam has just teased an upcoming motorcycle model on their official social media page, accompanied by the message “Coming soon 25/10”, confirming the launch date for October 25th.

Speculations abound that the new model is the Honda CT 125, a compact off-road bike with a unique “adventure-ready” design.

The Honda CT 125 is considered an extension of the Super Cub lineage, boasting a rugged design tailored for exploration enthusiasts. Compared to the 2019 concept, the production version has undergone refinements, including upgraded brakes, longer-travel suspension, and subtle dimensional adjustments for real-world performance.

Its design embodies the classic mini trail bike aesthetic, featuring a high front end, extended single seat, and high-mounted exhaust for improved water-fording capability. The iconic round headlight, paired with matte accents, blends vintage charm with modern appeal.

Initial reports suggest the Honda CT 125 may share the Super Cub C125’s engine—a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke unit producing approximately 9 horsepower and 10.8 Nm of peak torque.

Honda has yet to announce official Vietnamese pricing. Previously, private importers offered the CT 125 for over 100 million VND.

Despite official distribution, pricing below 80 million VND seems unlikely, given the Super Cub C125’s 86.29 million VND MSRP. Expect the CT 125 to fall between 80-100 million VND.
