Many sports car enthusiasts dream of owning their ideal vehicle, but often, it’s not just about the budget—it’s about getting the green light from their partner. However, some clever husbands know how to turn this dream into a win-win. On October 20th, a popular social media influencer shared that her husband gifted her a Subaru BRZ with a coveted license plate, proving that thoughtful gifting can make both parties happy.

Many applaud the husband’s strategy: he gets to enjoy the car he loves while keeping his partner delighted. The Subaru BRZ, painted in the influencer’s favorite shade of red, features sleek dark-colored rims that complement its sporty aesthetic.

The second-generation Subaru BRZ sports significant design updates compared to the model showcased in Vietnam three years ago. Notable changes include a redesigned front bumper, a simplified three-bar grille, narrower side air intakes without fog lights, and sleeker LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlights.

The BRZ’s side profile features dual-tone 5-spoke rims and the signature widened rear wheel arches. Measuring 4,265 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width, and 1,310 mm in height, with a 130 mm ground clearance, the BRZ weighs approximately 1.3 tons thanks to its lightweight aluminum construction.

Inside, the 2+2 coupe layout remains, with the rear seats best suited for children. The cabin features Ultrasuede upholstery accented with red stitching, blending sportiness with everyday practicality. Behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel is a 7-inch TFT display showing performance metrics like power output, torque, G-forces, and lap times. The 8-inch infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Under the hood, the BRZ’s 2.4-liter Boxer engine delivers 231 hp at 7,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 3,700 rpm—a 31 hp and 45 Nm improvement over its predecessor. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

Safety features include Subaru’s EyeSight system with forward collision warning, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and seven airbags, ensuring both performance and peace of mind.
