Green GSM Partners with Xentro Group to Boost Electric Ride-Hailing Services in the Philippines

This partnership accelerates the transition to green and sustainable transportation in the Philippines, demonstrating a shared commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare.

Under the agreement, Green GSM will provide 2,000 VinFast Nerio Green electric vehicles to AMRC Renewable Corp/Xentro Motors. The first 1,000 VinFast vehicles have been ordered, with the remaining units to be delivered within the next two years. The fleet will operate under the co-branded identity “Green Xentro powered by Green GSM” in Metro Manila and other major cities, following full regulatory approval and licensing.

The Green Xentro fleet, adorned in Green GSM’s signature green color, meets stringent eco-friendly standards, similar to those in other markets. With smooth operation, zero emissions, and a comfortable interior, VinFast electric vehicles promise passengers a cleaner and more enjoyable travel experience.

Following the launch of its electric ride-hailing service in the Philippines earlier this year, Green GSM is expanding its local partnerships to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. For AMRC Renewable Corp/Xentro Motors, this collaboration represents an opportunity to contribute to the growing trend of sustainable transportation in the Philippines. Once all procedures are finalized, the fleet will be integrated into the Green GSM platform.

In parallel, Xentro Motors will leverage its nationwide network of Xentro Malls to establish convenient pick-up and drop-off points, charging stations, and dedicated parking for electric vehicles, maximizing convenience for passengers and drivers. The partnership also extends to services such as fleet maintenance, charging infrastructure, and driver support, building on the existing collaboration between Xentro Motors and VinFast.
