Mercedes-Benz Vietnam recently hosted a graduation ceremony for 12 outstanding technicians from the 3rd and 4th cohorts of the Dual Vocational Training Program – Automotive Mechatronics Technician.

This event marks six consecutive years of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s investment in developing skilled human resources for Vietnam’s automotive industry, with a total of 40 high-caliber technicians graduating since 2019.

LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO DEVELOPING HIGH-QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES

Launched in 2019, the program is a collaborative effort between Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, LILAMA2 International College, and the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK). This pioneering training initiative seamlessly blends Germany’s rigorous theoretical framework with hands-on practice using the latest Mercedes-Benz vehicle models, enabling trainees to swiftly adapt to the rapidly evolving automotive industry.

All trainees receive full sponsorship from Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s dealer network, demonstrating a tangible investment in people—the cornerstone of Mercedes-Benz’s world-class after-sales service.

IN-DEPTH TRAINING ALIGNED WITH GERMAN STANDARDS – TOWARD COMPREHENSIVE PROFESSIONALISM

Spanning two and a half years, the program adheres to Germany’s stringent training standards. Trainees are guided by seasoned experts through practical teaching methods focused on real-world application:

Foundational automotive mechatronics theory at LILAMA2 International College,

Intensive practical training at Mercedes-Benz dealerships nationwide,

Specialized product, technology, and skill training at the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Training Center.

At the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Training Center, trainees gain hands-on experience with models like the C-Class, E-Class, GLC-Class, and S-Class. They also engage with advanced training modules such as High Voltage Awareness (High Voltage Qualification Level 1) and product knowledge for EQ models—essential preparation for the automotive industry’s electrification trend. Notably, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam is among the few entities in Vietnam with a dedicated Training Center.

Both theoretical and practical assessments are rigorously supervised by a panel comprising technical managers from dealerships, LILAMA2 International College instructors, and experts from the German Industry and Commerce (AHK).

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION AND SUSTAINABLE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates receive internationally recognized certifications from the German Industry and Commerce (AHK), LILAMA2 International College, and Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, along with guaranteed employment opportunities within Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s nationwide dealership network.

Equipped with comprehensive skills, mastery of their craft, and advanced expertise, Mercedes-Benz-trained technicians are invaluable assets for enhancing service quality across Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s dealership network and the broader Vietnamese automotive sector. Furthermore, graduates have opportunities to pursue higher education at the university level or continue their development through advanced Mercedes-Benz Vietnam programs. Mercedes-Benz Vietnam takes pride in its collaboration with LILAMA2 International College and the German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in this pivotal initiative.

Mr. Vương Nguyá»…n Kim Văn, Director of Customer Service at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, stated at the graduation ceremony: “Mercedes-Benz Vietnam is committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers while contributing to the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s economy and automotive market. This Dual Vocational Training Program exemplifies our dedication to nurturing a skilled and professional technician workforce, meeting the growing demands of Vietnam’s automotive industry and advancing our corporate mission.”
