Carlex Design has unveiled one of its most unique and expensive creations yet: the Mercedes-AMG G63 “Himalaya”.

The G63 Himalaya is the seventh and most standout addition to a collection of ultra-luxury SUVs, including the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX, Range Rover Vogue, Ferrari Purosangue, Bentley Bentayga, and Mercedes-AMG G63. Each vehicle is handcrafted with a distinct design, blending classic elegance and opulence.

What sets the G63 Himalaya apart is its one-of-a-kind white metallic paint. Carlex reveals that nearly 1 kg of real diamond powder was mixed into the paint, creating a dazzling effect when light hits it from any angle. Applying this rare material requires extreme precision, as even the slightest mistake can ruin the entire surface.

Beyond the unique paint, the G63 Himalaya features a new widebody kit with extended wheel arches, classic-inspired alloy wheels paired with whitewall tires—a nod to luxury cars of the 1970s.

The front fascia is refined with vertical chrome grille slats, a classic logo, and chrome-accented front and rear bumpers, blending nostalgia with grandeur.

While the exterior exudes “sparkling luxury,” the G63 Himalaya’s cabin is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Carlex Design used the renowned Himalaya leather—the same material found in Hermès Birkin bags priced at hundreds of thousands of dollars—to upholster the front seats and the middle row’s center seat.

Himalaya leather is crafted from natural Nile crocodile skin, undergoing a meticulous process to achieve a gradient from ash gray to ivory, symbolizing the snow-capped Himalayas. This is one of the world’s rarest leathers, reserved for exclusive luxury items.

The remaining cabin areas are clad in brown and white leather, combined with premium Alcantara, covering the roof, dashboard, and door panels. Every stitch is meticulously handcrafted, showcasing Carlex Design’s expertise as a leading European luxury automotive interior brand.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 Himalaya is priced at 1.5 million euros (approximately 44.78 billion VND), enough to purchase a new supercar and a luxury apartment. This price reflects the rarity of its materials and the hundreds of hours of artisan labor invested.

This bespoke G63 retains its twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, delivering 577 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Combining AMG’s engineering with Carlex’s artistry, this G-Class is one of the most unique vehicles on the planet—not just a mode of transport, but a mobile work of art.
