Maserati Vietnam Officially Launches the All-New Electric Duo: Grecale Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore, Marking a Milestone in the Italian Luxury Brand’s Electrification Journey.
The GranCabrio Folgore stands as the world’s first all-electric luxury convertible, a groundbreaking addition to the global automotive market. It is essentially the open-top variant of the existing GranTurismo Folgore coupe.
Inheriting much of its design from the GranTurismo Folgore, the GranCabrio Folgore retains the signature GT styling. Its elongated front end, sleekly sloping roofline, and compact rear section are complemented by a low-set, wide grille and swept-back headlights.
Compared to its gasoline counterpart, the GranCabrio Folgore features aerodynamic enhancements, including a redesigned front bumper with softer contours and smaller side air intakes.
A standout feature of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is its soft-top roof, which can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, opening or closing in just 14–16 seconds. The roof is available in various colors, allowing owners to personalize their vehicle to reflect their unique style and lifestyle.
At the rear, the GranCabrio Folgore boasts a rounded, smooth design, devoid of exhaust pipes. The charging port is cleverly integrated beneath the taillights, a rare feature in the market.
Despite being an electric vehicle, Maserati preserves its unique identity through a distinctive engine sound, engineered by the Maserati Innovation Lab. This blend of emotion and technology delivers an exhilarating driving experience akin to that of a traditional internal combustion engine supercar.
Built on an 800V electric platform, the GranCabrio Folgore incorporates cutting-edge technology derived from Formula E racing. This ensures exceptional performance while maintaining the smoothness and refinement synonymous with Maserati.
The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is equipped with a three-motor setup—one at the front axle and two at the rear—delivering all-wheel drive. This configuration produces a combined output of 751 horsepower and 1,350 Nm of torque. Power is supplied by a 92.5 kWh battery, and the vehicle offers four driving modes: GT, Sport, Corsa, and Max Range.
With its impressive power, the GranCabrio accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h. Notably, it is expected to offer a WLTP range of up to 447 km.
The GranCabrio Folgore features a 92.5 kWh battery that supports 400V DC fast charging at 150 kW, enabling a 20-80% charge in just 20 minutes. This technology ensures maximum convenience, making every journey seamless and uninterrupted.
