Back in May of this year, Japanese luxury automaker Lexus unveiled preliminary details about its 2026 RZ electric SUV, highlighting an advanced drivetrain that delivers enhanced power and range across the lineup.

Additionally, an expanded lineup offers greater power, improved performance, and enhanced aerodynamics, while optimized battery systems increase range and reduce charging times.
The 2026 Lexus RZ compact luxury electric SUV lineup includes the 350e and 350e Premium, along with the 450e AWD, 450e AWD Premium, and Luxury models. There’s also the new 550e F Sport AWD variant. The RZ 550e F Sport AWD introduces Lexus’ first virtual manual transmission (M mode), designed to deliver an “engaging driving experience.”
Currently, the RZ lineup offers three power options: 221 horsepower for the front-wheel-drive RZ 350e, 308 horsepower for the RZ 450e AWD variants, and a robust 402 horsepower for the RZ 550e F Sport AWD, nearly rivaling the larger Tesla Model Y Performance.

Furthermore, the RZ 450e AWD models can be equipped with a new dealer-installed performance upgrade kit, boosting power to 375 horsepower, reducing the 0-60 mph time to 4.3 seconds, and priced at just $1,750, excluding installation fees.
The 2026 RZ is assembled at the Motomachi plant in Japan and will be available this month, alongside initiatives benefiting Lexus RZ battery-electric vehicle (BEV) owners, including 2023-2025 models and the newly enhanced 2026 versions.

Specifically, Lexus RZ owners will gain access to an expanded network of fast DC chargers, new plug-and-charge capabilities, and Apple Maps EV routing on the Lexus Interface multimedia system, enhancing route guidance with real-time, visual information.
Alongside other fast DC charging networks like Ionna, ChargePoint, and EVgo, the Lexus RZ will also access the Tesla Supercharger Network. The 2026 Lexus BEVs will be compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) SAE J3400. Additionally, Lexus RZ owners of 2023-2025 models will receive a complimentary NACS charging adapter through dealerships.

Simultaneously, all 2026 Lexus BEVs will come standard with an adapter enabling backward compatibility with SAE J1772 and Combined Charging System (CCS) stations, offering even greater convenience and flexibility. “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at Lexus,” said Shawn Domeracki, Lexus vice president of dealer development and business operations.
The 2026 Lexus RZ will arrive at dealerships nationwide this month, starting at $47,295, equivalent to approximately 1.2 billion Vietnamese dong.
