Audi Australia has recently confirmed the upcoming launch of the A3 TFSI quattro, Q7 S line edition, and RS Q8 for 2026, promising to “deliver the best possible choices for our customers,” according to the product manager of the division.
Among these, the base Audi A3 welcomes the new 150 kW A3 TFSI quattro, available in both sportback and sedan body styles.
The already “comprehensive” Q7 SUV lineup gains a new S line variant. Additionally, the high-performance RS Q8 introduces a standard RS Q8 model, “offering customers a choice between two distinctive high-performance SUVs in the top-tier RS segment.”
Joining the A3, S3, and RS 3, which were updated earlier this year for the 2026 model, the new A3 TFSI quattro features a 2.0-liter TFSI engine delivering 201 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, combining “comprehensive performance, efficiency, and the confidence of the all-wheel-drive quattro system.”
This model is also 40 kW more powerful and 70 Nm torquier than the standard 110 kW variant, achieving 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds—1.8 seconds faster than the current base model.
Also upgraded this year, the 2026 Audi Q7 introduces two new S line variants, including the Q7 TDI quattro and Q7 TFSI quattro. Standard features include S line exterior styling, metallic or pearl effect paint, 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, and additional S line interior details such as illuminated door sills, S logos, and a black cloth headliner.
Pricing starts at AUD 112,415 for the Q7 TFSI quattro 185 kW S line and AUD 124,130 for the Q7 TDI quattro 170 kW S line.
Last but not least, the 2026 Audi Q8 arrives alongside a performance variant priced at just AUD 230,900. The quattro drivetrain boasts 591 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds—only 0.2 seconds slower than the high-performance version.
