The Ferrari 296 GTS is no stranger to car enthusiasts in Vietnam, but the model featured in this article stands out with its high-performance Assetto Fiorano upgrade package and a host of exclusive customization details.

The total cost after completion is estimated to exceed 30 billion VND, making it one of the most expensive 296 GTS models in Vietnam.

This hybrid convertible supercar shines with Ferrari’s signature Giallo Modena paint, complemented by the Argento Nurburgring silver stripe inspired by the brand’s legendary racing heritage. This iconic color combination not only pays homage to tradition but also accentuates the car’s sporty and aggressive exterior.

The Assetto Fiorano package is the heart of this vehicle, offering performance and weight-saving enhancements. Highlights include the GT racing-inspired Multimatic suspension system, specialized carbon fiber components such as the front splitter, doors, rear bulkhead, Lexan glass, and a rear aerodynamic wing. According to Ferrari, the carbon front splitter alone generates an additional 10 kg of downforce at high speeds.

This is also the second 296 GTS in Vietnam to feature carbon fiber wheels, which are 45% lighter than the standard wheels and valued at approximately 40,000 USD (1.052 billion VND). The brake calipers are painted to match the body color, ensuring a seamless design integration.

The interior is fully customized with carbon fiber accents throughout, including the dashboard, steering wheel, paddle shifters, center console, door sills, and key. The Daytona-style racing seats, crafted from carbon fiber and manually adjustable, eliminate electric adjustments to reduce weight and enhance the driver’s connection to the vehicle.

Powering the Ferrari 296 GTS is a plug-in hybrid system combining a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 818 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 330 km/h. The 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery, located behind the seats, allows for 25 km of electric-only driving at speeds up to 135 km/h.

The hardtop roof can be opened or closed in just 13.5 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 45 km/h. The fuel filler cap and charging port are strategically placed on opposite sides of the body, emphasizing the GTS’s hybrid nature.

Combining cutting-edge hybrid technology, high-performance upgrades, and unparalleled customization, the Ferrari 296 GTS Assetto Fiorano transcends being a mere speedster for collectors. It embodies sophistication, passion, and the owner’s unique imprint in the world of supercars.
