Recently, Mitsubishi has officially started accepting deposits for the 2026 Destinator 7-seater SUV in the Southeast Asian market.
The vehicle will be publicly unveiled in the Philippines on November 20th, marking a new milestone for Mitsubishi in the mid-size urban SUV segment in Southeast Asia.
To attract early buyers, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is offering a special introductory program from November 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026. During this period, customers who place a deposit and take delivery will enjoy a discounted price below the list price, along with the “Destinator Adventure Gear” gift set—a collection of accessories designed for outdoor adventures and light off-roading.
Additionally, customers who place an order during the 4-day launch event (November 20–23, 2025) and complete delivery by January 31, 2026, will receive an extra 5,000 PHP (approximately 2.23 million VND) cash discount, which can be combined with existing promotional prices.
According to the announcement, the Mitsubishi Destinator 2026 in the Philippines will be available in three variants:
Destinator GLX Turbo CVT priced at 1,389,000 PHP (approximately 619.72 million VND).
Destinator GLS Turbo CVT priced at 1,599,000 PHP (approximately 713.41 million VND).
Destinator GT Turbo CVT priced at 1,929,000 PHP (approximately 860.65 million VND).
After combining all promotional offers, early adopters can save between 100,000–130,000 PHP, equivalent to approximately 45–60 million VND, depending on the variant.
Positioned in the C-segment CUV category, the Mitsubishi Destinator competes with rivals such as the Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Mazda CX-5.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. Approach, breakover, and departure angles of 21°, 20.8°, and 25.5°, respectively, highlight its off-road capabilities comparable to traditional SUVs.
In terms of design, the Destinator features Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield language, modernized with sharper, more robust styling. The high-mounted LED headlights and three-tier honeycomb grille with a transparent acrylic overlay enhance visual depth.
The Mitsubishi Destinator offers a spacious and comfortable interior with notable features such as a panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, a symmetrical center console with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster.
This new 7-seater SUV also includes a premium Yamaha Dynamic Sound system, delivering an immersive audio experience tailored for young users and families who value comfort.
Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Destinator is powered by a 1.5L MIVEC Turbo gasoline engine, producing 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive.
The suspension system has been specifically tuned for Southeast Asian road conditions, characterized by rough surfaces, potholes, and mixed terrain. This ensures a smooth and stable ride, even when fully loaded with seven passengers.
