Liberty Walk and Alpharex unveiled a rugged widebody kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser at the SEMA show, retaining its original hybrid powertrain.
Land Cruiser, not typically known for performance, underwent a dramatic transformation by Liberty Walk. The Japanese tuner reimagined the off-road SUV as a bold contender against the likes of the Mercedes-AMG G63.
The front end was completely redesigned by Liberty Walk, featuring a new bumper, oversized air intakes, and sporty LED positioning lights. The hood was enhanced with decorative elements, amplifying the vehicle’s aggressive stance.
At the rear, the SUV boasts an extended rear bumper, a diffuser, and dual spoilers—one large on the roof and a smaller one on the tailgate—completing its menacing look.
Liberty Walk collaborated with Alpharex to integrate the Nova Series LED lighting system for both front and rear clusters, elevating the Land Cruiser’s modernity and premium appeal beyond its standard version.
The SUV is equipped with 24-inch forged alloy wheels from Vossen, paired with Toyo Proxes ST III tires—a high-performance, all-season option for SUVs. While Liberty Walk hasn’t detailed the suspension modifications, the vehicle appears lowered and widened for a sportier profile.
Under the hood, the Land Cruiser retains its 2.4L i-FORCE MAX turbocharged hybrid engine, delivering 326 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive. In other markets, less powerful gasoline or diesel options remain available.
According to Liberty Walk’s website, the complete body kit is priced at $8,800, while the 24-inch Vossen wheels alone cost $14,850. Individual components are also available: $2,420 for the front bumper, $1,100 for the rear bumper, $880 for the large spoiler, $660 for the tail spoiler, and $990 for the hood accents.
